BugWash
Bug Wash, Heel Mites, Fleas and Lice

· What is Bugwash?
Bugwash is a concentrated paste, which is diluted in warm water. It can be sponged or sprayed on and is left to dry. It should not be rinsed out. Bugwash is particularly useful in treating skin mites or heel mites in heavy and cobby horses since their feathers do not have to be removed for the application to be effective. This is particularly useful if showing or competing. Each leg can simply be stood in the Bugwash solution for about 5 minutes and then left to dry in.

· How is it different to Beelzebug?
Firstly, it is water-soluble whereas Beelzebug is vegetable oil based. Secondly, it contains less active ingredients, otherwise the applications are the same, i.e. it will help get rid of and repel all external biting and blood-sucking insects and bugs.

· Can it be used on dogs and other pets?
Yes, it is equally effective on dogs, guinea pigs etc. especially as they can be bathed in it to clear up flea and lice infestations and then used weekly as a preventative. The solution can also be used to disinfest stables, kennels, catteries etc. by spraying or washing out.

NOTE: Bugwash should be used within 7 days of mixing. After this time it starts to lose its effectiveness.
